Travel around Hurgada with Bobby
I choose to visit Luxor because of its incredible historical significance and the opportunity to experience the wonders of ancient Egypt firsthand. With its mesmerizing temples, tombs, and the iconic Nile River, I knew this city would offer an unforgettable journey through time. As a travel guide, I’ve always sought destinations that tell a powerful story, and Luxor, often called the world’s largest open-air museum, promised just that. The thought of standing in the same places where ancient civilizations once thrived was simply irresistible. And, of course, a sunset Nile cruise was a must for the perfect end to my adventure.
Day 1The Stunning Beauty of the Red Sea
When I first stepped foot in Hurghada, I was immediately mesmerized by the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea. The weather was warm, and the sea felt refreshing. I decided to spend my first day relaxing by the beach, so I checked into Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel, one of the city’s most popular resorts. With its large pools and direct beach access, it was the perfect place to unwind.
In the afternoon, I tried one of Hurghada’s most popular water activities – diving. The colorful coral reefs and tropical fish beneath the Red Sea were absolutely breathtaking. After diving, I headed to New Marina, where I enjoyed a stroll along the waterfront. There are many cafes and restaurants here, so I sat at one of them and had some fresh seafood. For dinner, I dined at El Halaka, where I had delicious traditional Egyptian mezze and fresh fish.
I spent the day enjoying the beach, water sports, and exploring the vibrant nightlife. I ended my night at Cave Club, where I danced under the stars. The warm weather made it the perfect setting for a lively night out.
I highly recommend Hurghada for anyone looking to enjoy both the sea and lively entertainment. Don’t miss the diving experience – the underwater world of the Red Sea is simply incredible!

Day 2Exploring Hurgada’s Historical and Cultural Riches
On my second day, I decided to immerse myself in the cultural side of Hurghada. After a delicious breakfast at Starfish Restaurant, I took a boat trip to Mahmya Island. This island is famous for its clear waters and peaceful beaches, and it’s only a 30-minute boat ride away. Spending time here, swimming and sunbathing, was the perfect way to appreciate Egypt’s natural beauty.
Afterward, I visited the Hurghada Museum, which is home to many artifacts and statues from ancient Egypt. I spent some time here learning about the country’s rich history before wandering the old streets of the city. I also visited the local market, where I found fresh spices, handmade jewelry, and traditional fabrics.
For dinner, I chose Fisherman’s Restaurant, known for its fresh seafood. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. In the evening, I spent time at a local café in the city center, chatting with locals and soaking in the atmosphere.
Lunch at Fisherman’s Restaurant was a treat. The fish was fresh, and the traditional Egyptian dishes made for a satisfying meal. I especially enjoyed the grilled shrimp and the view of the harbor.
Food
I stayed at Sunrise Holidays Resort, which was peaceful and close to the beach. The resort offered good amenities, but the vibe felt a bit quieter compared to the more lively resorts in Hurghada.
Accomodation
Exploring Mahmya Island and the Hurghada Museum was an enriching experience. The island’s peaceful atmosphere and the museum’s fascinating collection made for a perfect cultural day. The local market in the evening was also a highlight.

Day 3Adventure and Nightlife in Hurghada
On my final day, I decided to seek a bit more adventure. I woke up early and joined a Desert Safari tour to the nearby Sahara Desert. During the tour, I enjoyed riding camels and having tea in traditional Bedouin camps. The tranquility of the desert was a truly unique experience. I also got a glimpse into the lives of the local Bedouin people, which was incredibly fascinating.
After the safari, I headed to Sheraton Road, Hurghada’s famous shopping street. It’s the perfect place to shop for souvenirs, jewelry, and high-quality goods. On the way back, I stopped by Sunrise Holidays Resort, a beachfront resort where I took some time to relax by the pool and enjoy their excellent food.
For dinner, I visited The Blue Fish Restaurant by the shore, where I had more fresh seafood. Afterward, I explored Hurghada’s lively nightlife scene at Ministry of Sound, one of the city’s most famous nightclubs. I danced the night away with the local DJ’s beats.
Dinner at The Blue Fish Restaurant was delightful, with fresh seafood by the beach. The setting was ideal for a relaxing evening, and the food was just as good as the view.
