My Brussels adventure began with a thrilling visit to the Grand Place. Standing in the heart of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, I was mesmerized by the intricate architecture of the guild houses and the stunning Town Hall. After soaking in the historic vibes, I strolled to the nearby Manneken Pis, that cheeky little statue that’s a quirky symbol of the city’s humor.
For lunch, I indulged in some traditional Belgian cuisine at Chez Léon, where I savored mouthwatering moules-frites (mussels with fries). In the afternoon, I took a leisurely walk through the Mont des Arts, admiring the beautiful gardens and the impressive Royal Palace.
In the evening, I made my way to Delirium Café, famous for its extensive beer menu and lively atmosphere. The place was buzzing with locals and travelers alike, and I enjoyed a refreshing Trappist beer while soaking in the vibrant nightlife.

Next, I headed to La Roue d’Or for lunch, where I enjoyed a classic Belgian dish, carbonnade flamande (beef stew). Refueled and ready, I spent the afternoon wandering around the Sablon neighborhood, known for its chic boutiques and art galleries. The highlight was visiting the beautiful Notre-Dame du Sablon church with its stunning stained glass windows.
In the evening, I decided to try Le Bouchon du Sablon for dinner. The cozy bar had an inviting atmosphere and a selection of fine Belgian beers. I ended the night with a leisurely walk through the illuminated streets, soaking in the city’s enchanting night-time ambiance.

Lunch took me to Le Vieux Saint-Martin, a charming brasserie where I enjoyed traditional Belgian fare in a relaxed setting. The rest of the afternoon was spent exploring the lively areas of Saint-Gilles and discovering quirky shops and local markets.
In the evening, I headed to Le Flagey, a cultural hub with a vibrant mix of bars and cafes. The lively atmosphere and variety of entertainment options made it a perfect spot to wrap up my Brussels adventure.
